The University of North Carolina-Greensboro needed to boost the profile of its Visions program, which lets working adults sample graduate study before making the big commitment of money and time. Having written a viewbook and fundraising brochure for UNCG’s graduate programs, G+A was asked to bring the Visions program to life via local radio ads that would reach busy people on the go.
We scripted two 30-second spots that used dialogue and familiar scenarios to place listeners into the decision process. The first featured two moms commiserating on a playground bench — with all their parenting duties, how could they find room for school, even just part-time? The second featured men huddled around a grill, sharing their fears of being the oldest guy in the classroom.
