Boston College needed to update its most critical recruiting tools: its family of websites. Seeking to modernize its messaging and outreach, BC relied on G+A’s web writing expertise to sharpen its pitch to prospective students and boost recruitment.

We advised on content organization and functionality. We made several trips to campus to meet with deans and other leaders. And we wrote hundreds of web pages for schools across the university, taking care to give site visitors a cohesive, consistent experience while conveying each school’s distinctiveness.

The impact was immediate: Inquiries through the BC websites skyrocketed after launch. For example, within 10 days the nursing school received 200 inquiries, exceeding the entire previous year’s total.

The websites won a national CASE Circle of Excellence award, and BC asked us to do more. We crafted convincing print collateral and a compelling email campaign. Our copy helped the School of Theology and Ministry increase applications by nearly 30% over the previous year, and inquiries from our undergraduate search email campaign leaped by 31% over the previous year.
