Boston College needed to update its most critical recruiting tools: its family of websites. Seeking to modernize its messaging and outreach, BC relied on G+A’s web writing expertise to sharpen its pitch to prospective students and boost recruitment.
We advised on organization and functionality. We made several trips to campus to meet with deans and other campus leaders. And we wrote hundreds of web pages and feature stories for schools across the university—including the law, nursing and education schools.
The impact was immediate: Inquiries through the BC websites skyrocketed after launch. For example, within 10 days the nursing school received 200 inquiries, exceeding the entire previous year’s total.
The success sparked more collaboration, as BC invited us to craft convincing print collateral and a compelling email campaign. Our copy helped the School of Theology and Ministry’s new travel brochure increase applications by nearly 30% over the previous year.
